
MIBOR wants to help create stronger, healthier communities run by fiscally sound governments, and made up of solid businesses, sound infrastructure, competitive schools, low crime and a safe environment. To get there, each community has its own road map that is unique and reflects the needs and wants of its residents.
The Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of REALTORS® is involved in economic development to assist the counties it serves to realize the visions they have for their communities by providing:
- REALTOR® knowledge/expertise on their communities.
- Community data on residential real estate.
- REALTOR® participation in all Local Economic Development Organizations (LEDOs) in 10 counties.
- Advocacy and support for public policy issues.
The 7,500 member-strong organization advocates for public policy issues to improve the quality of life of people living in central Indiana. It's in the best interest of MIBOR's members to work for the development of healthy communities.
